LabELMAG is a practice anchored organization for the study, experimentation of innovative ideas and for the development of new solutions involving electromagnetic study of novel materials and electronic systems.
The Laboratory for Innovative Materials Electromagnetic Study was founded in 2015 and it has the only anechoic chamber in Romania that works up to 40 GHz, with “open” regime and the only prototyping level “sample shop” in the region that allows process control in all phases.
The Laboratory for Innovative Materials Electromagnetic Study was implemented under the Sectoral Operational Programme “Increase of Economic Competitiveness”, co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund, Priority Axis 2 Competitiveness by Research, Technological Development and Innovation, O.2.2.1 Operation – Existing R & D Infrastructure Development and Creation of New Infrastructure, ID 1911, SMIS – CNSR code 48882, Funding contract no. 653/07.08.2014, value 1.35 M€. The research infrastructure is part of the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology of the Technical University Gheorghe Asachi from Iasi.
